Explore the Baylor Dance Facilities at Baylor Dance Camps
When dancers attend Baylor Dance Camps, they receive more than quality instruction. They have the opportunity to experience the same facilities used by the Baylor dance program, giving them a firsthand look at what it is like to train and perform at the collegiate level. From the Baylor University dance studio to the weight room, McLane Stadium, and Foster Pavilion, every facility gives campers a better understanding of the collegiate dance experience.
Train in the Baylor University Dance Studios
The Baylor University dance studio is the heart of the camp experience, where dancers will spend much of their time learning choreography, refining technique, participating in warmups and across the floor progressions, and preparing for performances. Training in the same studio used by the Baylor dance program gives campers an authentic collegiate dance experience while receiving hands-on instruction from experienced coaches in a professional learning environment.
Explore Baylor's Weight Room
Baylor's weight room is another impressive facility that supports Baylor student athletes throughout the year. As part of Baylor Dance Camps, campers will have the opportunity to see the same high quality training space used by collegiate athletes, giving them a closer look at the resources available at a Division I university.
Experience Baylor Game Day Venues
One of the most exciting parts of Baylor Dance Camps is getting to experience the same locations where Baylor dancers perform throughout the year. McLane Stadium serves as the home of Baylor football, where the Baylor Dance Team performs on game days, while Foster Pavilion is where the team performs during Baylor basketball games. These experiences allow dancers to picture themselves performing in front of thousands of fans while gaining a greater appreciation for the commitment and preparation that comes with being part of a collegiate dance team.
